Howdy!!
I've been working on updating my Etsy Shop this morning. As we move closer and closer to the holidays, I will continue to add more and more. I would be ever so very happy if you'd pop over and check it out. I'd be even happier if you'd even "favorite" my shop!
If there's something you'd love to see me add to the shop, just let me know and I will see what I can do for you - note, I adore sewing too and have some items I'll put in the shop over the next few days!
BTW, I absolutely must share with you that this drawing is a copy of a picture my mom drew of me and my dog (Pumpkin) in 1979! I cheered for many years of my life. I cherish this picture and another tidbit of info, my mom's nickname when she was young was Suzy Q. I miss her soooo very much!

Sweet Sunday
Hello
I have been coloring with my Copics as of late and really slowing my process, taking my time. It's very calming, therapeutic and enjoyable. My only problem is: how many cards do I really need? My daughter and I were talking and she and I were laughing about when I pass - she'll have like 10 ga'jillian ba'zillion cards to go thru! She said it'd be horrible cuz she wouldn't wanna throw any of them away! (awwww) So, I gotta figure out something to do.... I do donate, guess I should donate moooore, huh?
Now this one, I have a plan for this one! My only daughter (Em) is going to start school (in tandem with an apprenticeship) at the upscale hair salon she's been working at. She will also continue working full time while doing so! I'm excited for her. She knows this is one way to work herself thru school without huge student loans. Sooo, I'm going to send her this card as a congrats for being so mature and determined to go to college to teach elementary school!
I've decided to add this card to the current challenge at {PIN}spirational Challenges. This sweet little image is from Whimsie Doodle.

Sometimes you're the shark...
Hello again friends -
Just a quick card tonight. You must stop by and check out this great challenge over at Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog. This adorable worm image became my jumping off point for this card. The worm is a Scribbles Design. The challenge is all about the boys...
Bahhaa! Cute huh? I should've corrected the proportions for these two cuties but, somehow the worm being larger than the shark was even funnier to me... maybe its just one of those days.
I haven't been sleeping well with hubby outta town for the last 2 races of the season, so maybe tonight I'll scoot on off to bed and sleep. Mmmmm - sounds wonderful!
Thanks for stopping by!

Tiddly Ink Lovin'
Hi friends!
When I recently saw that Tiddly Inks was looking for a few DT members, I just knew I had to give it a try. Christy Croll creates some of the cutest images - so fun to color too. I ended up not being able to stop once I got started and in all, I created 5 cards! One of them, I used for the current TI challenge.
Here's my little creation I will submit for the actual call:
I used one of the I Wuf You images for this card. Aren't these little pups just the adorable? The patterned papers are retired Basic Grey with a few scraps from my stash. I used Robin's Nest Dew Drops, baker's twine, Stampin Up sentiment and a Darice mini clothespin. I then gave this sweet digi some Copic ink to finish up my card.
I must admit there was great debate over which card to submit! The whole family got involved. I even asked a trusted friend to add her vote! My youngest son and friend voted for the card above. Daughter voted for the one below and I was right in the middle to be honest. (btw, hubby's on the road for the last race of his season) Eekkk, what to do?! lol
Squeee - aren't they just adorable?? This digi is called Couple of Fall Cuties. I am a Halloween Fool - adore this holiday! My fav by far! So this digi was a shoe-in for me. I used retired SU papers with a few from my stash for a circle or two. I cut the spider web doily using my Cricut Air. I used my Copics to color these two and here it is! I will share my 2 other cards with you guys at a later date... I'm off to add my card to the linky. Wish me good luck, and maybe I'll see you there!
And if you feel like being a part of this DT isn't your cup of tea, don't forget about the challenge! It's open until the 31st and the challenge theme is "have a heart". Go check it out!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a great week.

Tiddly Inks Tuesday
Happy Tuesday everyone!
I've found some exciting fun to share ~ What better way to practice my skills than with a little bit of Tiddly Inks fun on the challenge blog ! Over the past 2 days I've created a few cards (okay! I've created 5 cards!) with some adorable TI images. I've finally picked one for the current challenge (Challenge #164...Have Heart.......)
I've been playing around with my growing digi stamp collection, learning how to layer and manipulate them. I'll admit, at 1st I was really not sure about them. Guess I was use to having actual stamp sets to man handle and all. But, the more I work with them, the more I fall head over heels in love! I find I'm totally addicted to coloring my digis while improving my Copic skills -

I decided to use one of the kitties from the Set of Kitties. Squeeee, I'm so in love with this guy! I chose older My Mind's Eye papers (yummy.) And used SU sentiment and flowers (I usually crochet my own, but these matched perfectly.) The ribbon is actually wired wreath ribbon, I just removed the wire. He also received some Copic inky love. Gonna go add him to the linky - hope to see you there!

I used the Bugaboo image Deacon School - sign it 2. They have some of the cutest digis! I colored him up with my Copics. Used my sewing machinee to stitch down the bottom most layer of cardstock. The ruler is from an old paper pack. I traced over the notebook paper lines with my SU makers and stamped a retired SU image I onto the note.
I did an extra card mostly because I adore turtles - see.....

Old School Style with Cut It Up!
Hello my friends!
Challenge time with Cut It Up! We're taking a stroll down memory lane and would like to see you use old supplies or technique! How fun is that?? I wanted to get started on our teacher Christmas gifts this year so I decided to make sets of Christmas gift tags to give to his 6 teachers. I will make little celo bags with cute toppers to hold 3 or each design for each of Wildman's teachers.
I decided to use some old paper, ribbon and stamps from Stampin Up! I used this stamp set until I thought it'd fall apart when I bought it new almost 5 years ago. Okay, so maybe that's not all that old, but....
Now it's your turn to head over to Cut It Up blog to add your project to the mix. Remember to use either old supplies or technique and don't forget the die cut too! If you are chosen as the winner you will receive a great prize of a $20.00 gift certificate from this weeks sponsor Newton's Nook! Hope to see you there!

Wonderful, Wonderful Washi Tape
Hi kids!
I've been playing with my washi tape stash. I have a little basket filled and I must say I use my washi tape all the time around the house. I used it in place of any tape application I have except wrapping presents. I've even painted clothes pins and added fun washi, I'll show you those in a different post. I've just for some reason not used it much on my scrapping projects before now. It'll be a different story after these projects, what fun! Here's my little basket of goodness.
I love turtles (mostly sea turtles) and this stamp set is an older one from Inky Antics and it's actually a Halloween set. He's so cute. I used my Copics to ink him up and then created my card.
This card is one I saw on Pinterest and I am sorry I couldn't' find a live link to be able to give credit where credit is due. But, isn't this just the most fun?? This is ribbon washi tape I made with double stick tape.
And for my last card I used a Mark's Finest Papers stamp colored with my Copics. I adore dogwoods and here in Georgia thankfully we have a good population of them!
Okay, I have more projects I want to create and when they are finished I will share with them with you. Oh! Hubby and I have completed my video camera set up and I will be able to start creating video tutorials for you guys! Yeppie Me!! I'll talk with ya later.
Thanks for stopping by!

Here's my very 1st scrapbook page using these super easy and fun tapes. It's hard to photograph a white page, so pls forgive... It's a pic that I actually don't mind ~ lol ~ We had a summer celebration cook out with our families in 2010 or 2011 (yep, I know the page says 2008 Easter - it lies.)

Want some candy little girl??
Hi guys!
Although I had a week or so that I wand s unable to post here, I did manage to stay very busy creating. And I wanna say it's so funny how much I miss Stampin Up! I sold for a number of years and I am working my way back to selling sooner or later. When I sign up again, I'll let you guys know and offer a grand opening special discount for my blogger friends and family.
So, I'm sure I've mentioned before how much I adore Halloween and creating treat holders sooo, here are a few little goodies I made that were inspired by Angie Juda with Stampin Up.
This little box was so very easy to make and such fun. My stamped image is part of a very old SU set that I just adore.
And this little cutie is made from my petal cone die, a retired SU die. It will open from the bottom and you can put all kinds of treats inside.
I will continue to create little treat holders for all of the coming holidays and I will of course share them with you!

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas...
Well, not really - but, we've been going thru all of our packed up holiday decorations to pair them down a bunch. We have enough to supply a small country with happiness for the holidays!
And, I've been creating some more cards to add to my stash to mail out this year. Here's a little look see at some of them.
Verve Stamp set, Stampin Up DSP and embossing folder with Neenah and Bazzill cardstock.
Old Stampin Up dies and cardstock. I used the packaging tape tech with Recollections glitter and the sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers.
Tried using unusual colors and images for this card. It's a So Suzy Stamp.
Created a square card and made a little scene with an old Stampin Up stamp set.
Bo Bunny Paper with Cricut die cut snowflakes.
And last but not least, a So Suzy Stamps seahorse shaker card. Loooove her little sea critters! I also stamped and heat embossed on acetate! You just have to have patients and all will be okay, heat it slowly and from a distance!

Window's 10 Update Gone Wrong...
Hello my friends -
Although this update is nice, it's messed up my blog, a lot! I have fixed almost all the issues it created and am now trying to figure out the last issues. Perhaps the worst - I am unable to load pictures onto my blog!! Hence the silence here....
I will be working with Geek Squad tomorrow to hopefully fix this and then I can load up ALL the cool things I've been working on.
Thanks for stopping by!

I chose CS from Simon Says Stamp, pattern paper from DCWV Cardstock 6 x 6 KIDLET Paper Stack Printed Matstack (cutest paper ever!!) I used foam tape to give the shaker box lift. I used sea beads and glitter to fill the box. The bananas are included in the cut file btw!
Swing on over and play along, you could be chosen to win the wonderful prize of a $20.00 gift certificate from As Cute As A Button!! What a wonderfully awesome sponsor prize!! So, head on over to Cut It Up and check out all the details and get busy! See 'ya there....

Narwhal Narwhal Swimming in the ocean....
Aloha friends!
Today is my spotlight over at Kitty Bee Designs - the home of the Aloha Friday Challenges! We've asked to see your water/ocean animal projects. I decided to share a little Narwhal Love.
I cannot take credit for this card. Yainea at Lawn Fawn created this card in 2013. The link will take you directly to the post with the video on how to create the spinner card. I thought it'd be a blast to use the Kitty Bee narwhal with this little spinner. The last time I made a spinner card I thought it was a pain, but this was so very easy and fun.
I used my Copics to give him some color and Wink of Stella to add a little sparkle. The cardstock, pattern paper, sentiment and embossing powder are all retired Stampin Up. The bubble in this underwater sea scape are simply dollops of glitter glue.
Hope you will give this card a try and I hope to see you over at Kitty Bee Designs - participating in the current Aloha Friday Challenges!
