Merry Christmas!

Yep - I am getting started now for this years Christmas cards! Call me crazy, but this way I can have fun, try new things and not stress over getting enough completed to mail on time.

I figure while I'm at it I might toss my hat in the ring for a few challenges here and there.


I have never created a sunburst card and I was very surprised at just how easy it was. I used a few double sided paper scraps, an adorable snowman from AMB Illustrations and Copics to ink him up. I believe all the papers are retired SU DSPs. I know black isn't really ever thought of as a holiday color, but I really wanted the papers to pop. I think it worked. I am working on a few other holiday cards, once they are done I'll let cha see.

    Black is perfect for popping other colors! I love the sunburst, and it's a great way to use up scraps, too!

    Yes, the black does set off all the papers and is a great background for your cheeky snowman.
