I was working in the lab late one night,

"When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise......"

I'mmmmm back! Gonna share this adorable Halloween KBD image with you. I used my Copics to ink up this little bat, BUT,  I couldn't have Frankenbatt be all alone in the night, now could I? So I found an uninhabited, yet haunted, mansion sitting on a little hill, already conveniently lite by a low moon. And now, I'm stratified that my little Frankenbatt will have a most wonderful home to live in.

So now I'm sure you would love to know about the current challenge over at Kitty Bee Design Blog - Aloha Friday Challenges - it's all about the music! Just like the song "The Monster Mash" helped me get in the mood for this card, I just know you can come up with a great song to help you! You can also head over check out all the great DT inspiration, other entries and the wonderful challenge sponsor, Kenny K.  I do hope you will head over and add your card to the linky! See you there!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Shine on you crazy red apple...

Okay, so that title may have been just a little lame, but my hopefully card's not! I had a wee bit of time this morning to create a card for a challenge or two...

I really love fall and all the wonderful things it brings. I adore Halloween, crisp air, crunchy leaves, blankets, fire pits, not being hot and sweaty ~ I think you get the picture.  Over the next month you will see a handful (okay! a lot) of postings with me celebrating Halloween... just puttin' that out there.

This little card is using a Mojo Monday sketch, Sherry K Designs digital paper, Lawn Fawn sentiment, So Suzy Stamps image, Wally World cardstock and jute ribbon. Oh, and "found" foam tape, lol, hubby found it in the very back of his tool chest & he gave it to me, ain't he sweet?!

Hey Daddy-o!

Hello Everyone!!

Time for a little Aloha Friday!! Yep - challenge time with Kitty Bee Designs!

Throughout my life, music has played an important part. It's not that I am a talented player of any instruments nor am I an amazing singer (although, I do put on an incredible concert while driving in my car). But, I did grow up having music nights with my family, singer into our make shift microphones, dancing all over the room. Always laughing, always followed by a great cookout of wonderful yummy food... Until my stroke, I always had music playing and I could almost always tell you who sang the song that was on the radio and what the words were! Ahhh, the good days! My favorite eras are the 50's and 70's.

That's were this adorable Kenny K digi image comes in! For the Kitty Bee Aloha Challenge #56, we want to see something about music! This images could be yours from our sponsor Kenny K if you win! I saw this milkshake image and immediately thought of sock hops, drive ins, greasers and pink ladies!

You need to head on over to the Kitty Bee Designs for the Aloha Friday Challenges to check out all the details and then add your project to the linky so you can have a chance to win the wonderful Kenny K prize!

Guess What?!

I just finished posting my very 1st YouTube video!! I'm very thankful to my big sister for being the 1st to view it before I went public! =) I started with a VERY simple Halloween treat holder and want to make sure I post all the deets here - so, without further ado....

It's a very simple matchbook treat holder. The digital paper and image I used are from Pretty Grafik. The little rat I cut from my Cricut and is just a little prop...

Okay, so the measurements for the match book cover is 2.5" x 8.5" and I scored that in landscape at 3/4", 4.5" and 5". The belly band is 1" x 7" and I scored it landscape at 3/4" and 4". The patterned papers are score 1/4" shorter than the black matchbook base. I used a 1 3/4" circle punch to cut out the Copic colored pumpkin and 2 1/4" scallop die to cut out the black scallop base.

So, head on over to my You Tube channel to watch how to make this little treat holder! And of course you are bound to enjoy it so dang much that you will have "like" my vid and you will feel compelled to "subscribe" to my channel - LOL. No, but seriously.... HA!

Thank you so very much for stopping by (and for watching my vid!)

With a little luck

**2nd post of the day**

Hi everyone! This is exciting, it's my very 1st post for Scribbles Design Team! It's a very laid back happy place and there are some super fun digi's too!! All of Sandy's challenges will start on the 15th of each month run for 30 days with a mid-challenge post for more inspirational DT work. And as luck would have it - sorry, I couldn't resist - our current challenge is all about luck.

You may not know this, but I was born on St. Patrick's Day. Growing up my mom always called it St. Peggie's Day. She always had a way of making this day feel very special. So, this challenge for me, meant all things shamrock, St. Peggie's Day and wearing of the green! This is how I interpreted "luck", I'd really love to see your interpretation!

This month's sponsors...

Top Scribbler receives $10 worth of digital images, winner's choice
Top 3 receives $3 worth of digital images

Donating: 7 digital images, winners choice
I just know you are heading over to the Scribbles Designs Challenges page to add your project now, aren't you?! See you there!

Splish, Splash I was taking a bath...

Hello my friends! So glad you are here to hear about the new challenge!

Man, I love music from the 50's and when I saw this little guy I knew he was perfect for the new Kitty Bee Designs ~  Aloha Friday Challenges #56 Music. After I gave him some Copic color I added a bit of glitter to the soap bubbles. I also added a bit of twine and a button to finish him up.

Now it's your turn to add your musical creation to the challenge - get your supplies out and I'll see you on the Aloha Friday Challenges page!

See you again soon!

Thanks for stopping by!

I'm feeling a little sporty!

Hello my friends!

Challenge time with Cut It Up and today, it's all about the sports! My dearest hubby is the lead mechanic for car # 38 with Kinetic Motorsports Kia Optima race car.

Until this year he was with Krohn Racing (the #2 mechanic) and traveled all over the world. This picture below shows the team on a pit stop and my hubby changed the front two tires when they were over the wall. He's worked with racing and race teams since the day we met almost 15 years ago. He still travels a lot, but this team races only the US. For all these years, every time he'd leave I'd stuff a handmade card into his luggage somewhere for him to find once at his hotel.

Well, enough of the back story and on to the Cut It Up Challenge!! This week we'd love to see your sporty creations! Something sports related and don't forget the die cut!  I decided since the last two races of this year for this series were in August, I'd make him a very special card. Here's my side step tool box card - complete with a sheet of diamond plate (embossing folder!)

Now it's your turn to head over to Cut It Up blog to check out all the details and add your project to the mix. If you are chosen as the winner you will receive a great prize from this weeks sponsor One Happy Cut ! Hope to see you there!
